Frequently Asked Questions

What shrink ratio should I choose?

Most general-purpose applications use a 2:1 shrink ratio. For larger diameter cables or irregular shapes, a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio provides better coverage. Contact us if you are unsure which ratio suits your application.

What is the minimum shrink temperature?

Standard polyolefin heat shrink tubing begins to shrink at approximately 70°C and fully recovers at 120°C. Always use a heat gun rather than an open flame for even shrinkage.

Do you offer adhesive-lined (dual-wall) heat shrink?

Yes. Our medium and heavy wall products include an inner adhesive lining that melts during shrinking to provide a waterproof, strain-relief seal. Ideal for outdoor, marine, and automotive applications.

Can I get custom colors, lengths, or printed markings?

Yes, custom specifications are available for bulk orders. Please contact us with your requirements.

What certifications do your products carry?

Our products meet RoHS, REACH, and UL standards. ISO factory certifications are available on our Factory Certifications page.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ varies by product. Please contact us for specific product MOQ and pricing information.

Do you provide samples?

Yes, samples are available for evaluation and for most items, free samples available.

What is your lead time?

Standard products are typically available from stock. Custom orders require 2–4 weeks depending on specifications and quantity.
